Japanese rolling table, inspired by Gabriel Viardot, famous cabinetmaker of the late nineteenth century, who distinguished himself in "Chinese" and "Japanese" furniture, impregnated with those he discovered during the Universal Exhibition of 1867. Subsequently, its style will become typically recognizable by its mother-of-pearl inlays or its bronze elements.
Here, this pretty table is characterized by two trays, in imitation of cracked leather, a decor of trendy birds, delicate flowers in gold and orange tones, reed branches, butterflies and pierced rock.
The uprights are openwork and the console legs.
